Longevity!

Two words you thought you would never hear "Premarital Counseling"!!!??? Counseling already!!! I know what you're thinking, "Dude, I am NOT going to Premarital Counseling!" Oh, but you are. Yes, very soon there will come a time when you will find yourself sneaking away from work, from the b-ball courts or from your boyz pad to attend that 11am counseling session with your bride-to-be.

Believe it or not, this is a good thing. Why you ask? Well, the purpose of premarital counseling is to discuss all the major and potentially sensitive issues that you and your beloved probably have not considered discussing until now. There are several premarital program options available through pastors or lay ministers, relationship therapists, etc. that you can use as resources. As long as you speak with a trained professional you both feel comfortable with, someone who can provide an unbiased and objective perspective to you before you take this step or leap into marital BLISS!
