I had a few bachelor parties - one in Tahoe for a group of West Coast friends and another in New Orleans with another crowd. Tahoe is good for relaxing and just hanging with the guys. New Orleans as always is a great town and there is so much to do between drinking, cooking classes, great food, tourism. We stayed at the Intercontinental which was reasonable in price and walking distance to the French Quarter. You gotta stop by the following bars, Pat O Brien's, d.b.a, and the Balcony bar. After a crazy night out you have to visit Cafe Du Monde and get some beignets, the perfect hangover killer. I personally think New Orleans is one of the most underrated places in the US for bachelor parties.
