My wife and I after much debate, settled on the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon. I wanted tropical and she wanted a long way away. I could not get more than one week off of work so we chose tropical and a place we did not have to travel for 24 hours. We loved the Dominican, the water was beautiful as and the people were very nice. We stayed at an all inclusive called secrets excellence and it was great. There were 7 places to eat, one was very good the rest were just good. We did the party boat and snorkel cruise and both were very fun. There is a lot to do there and we were on the side of the island with bigger waves so it made the beach a lot of fun.
